There are many ways to support us
Make a donation
As a charity, our Branch relies solely on the generosity and kindness of public donations to enable us to go on caring for local cats and kittens.
Your donation, no matter how large or small, will make a difference and without you, we simply wouldn't be able to continue our valuable work. Cheques should be made out to Cats Protection Torquay & District and sent to PO Box 309, Paignton TQ3 3SZ.
Or go to the Donate / Sponsor button, top right of the screen
Please click the Text Donations button to the left of the screen for more details.
Help out when you check out
You can support our Branch without it costing you anything. Nearly 3,000 retailers are ready to make a donation to us. All you have to do is go to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/tdcatsprotection/ and sign up for free.
Then every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping. If you install the easyfundraising tool bar, you'll get a reminder before you start shopping. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation. There are no catches or hidden charges and Torquay & District Cats Protection will be really grateful for your donations.

You can even access the sponsor area on our website where you can see more information on the cats you're helping, including videos and photos of your current sponsor cat.
We are always looking for passionate and committed volunteers to help our Branch. Currently we need:
Fosterers - To provide temporary care and accommodation to stray, abandoned or injured cats, whilst we find them new homes. This can be caring for a cat in your home or in a purpose built cat pen in your garden/outside space. Cats Protection will pay for the costs incurred whilst caring for a cat, including the installation of a cat pen if required.
Fundraisers - To assist with organising and running fundraising events in your local area. You will have the opportunity to get your thinking cap on and share fundraising ideas with other volunteers and then put those ideas into action.
Become a branch member Membership of our Branch is available for £5 per year. You'll be kept up to date with branch
news and upcoming events and your money will go towards helping cats in our area.
Donate craft work to be sold on our stalls Quality - but inexpensive - items that will appeal to cat lovers would be much appreciated for our stalls throughout the year.
Adopt a cat
We always have a waiting list of cats needing our help. By adopting a cat you can help us to help more cats as well as giving yourself a loving feline companion.
If you are interested in helping with any of the above please use the contact us page or telephone: 0345 647 2181.
Whilst we ask for a donation for our Cats and Kittens and appreciate that times are very hard for us all, if you can donate a little extra than requested donation this would be very much appreciated and go towards homing other cats/kittens and vet fees.
