More Men Taking on Moggies

30 April 2017
More Men Taking on Moggies The Branch has noticed an increase in the number of men wanting to adopt our foster cats, and apparently the trend is nationwide. In the UK, about 17 percent of men now own a cat, according to a survey by The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association: that's up from 13 percent (4.2m) over the previous year’s results, with one million more men acquiring a feline friend in the last 12 months.

In the Southwest, 21 percent of the population have cats, well above the national average and the second highest number in the UK (with Wales topping the list at 22 percent). But their cats are not all as big as these!
